♥ Hey =D
I had 2 alarms set for 6:30.
I woke up and my eyes were... tearing due to tiredness.
Who knew that a mere 15 minutes quick nap could wake me up?
I'm chatting to Latifah =DDDDDDDDDDD.
Last night... I DLed Jolene's songs!
And then i watched Rhapsody in Blue.
And then... I charged Jolene's Ipod.
(Which is like fully charged now)
I skipped Dinner Dx.
So... ya.

Happy? Excited? Dreadful?

I'm not having my holidays now unfortunately.
In Singapore, the system's completely different.
Start of year: January.
Then we get tests around febuary (which is counted in your final grade Dx)
And then Common tests around march/spril (More important tests, also counted)
Then Mid-year exams in may (DEFINATELY counted in your final grade)
THE WHOLE OF JUNE OFF! (i spent most of my one month holiday working ;D)
more tests in july. (counted)
common tests in august (counted)
Then End-of-year exams in... october?(we have those too in England =))
End of year: November (i think...)
Anyway. So in singapore you spend about... 10 weeks on tests and exams.
So there's alot of rushing.
But there's a few things i'm not very used to in Singapore.
First of all, textbooks don't contain all the information. (you have to think in other ways =/)
Second of all, the teachers rush so much that they feed you information so quickly that you vomit.
Third of all, we learn things we don't need for the future. (Which is good... in some ways. But mostly bad. It's taking up my memory. DAMNIT.)
Forth of all, THEY ACTUALLY FUCKING SHOW YOU WHO GOT WHAT FUCKING PLACE.
Fifth of all, TEACHERS AND SYSTEMS HERE ARE FUCKING DAMN DISCOURAGING.
In England, teachers don't let others know our grades so that people who have lower grades, who improved, will be encouraged that they actually CAN do better. But if they found out they were still bottom of the class, they'd be sad, won't they? ("I'm still at the bottom... sigh... =( ")
And if they improved, the person who is now at the bottom will be like. (Damn... i deproved... i was already low enough and now i'm lower... sigh... ")
DON'T THE TEACHERS AND GOVERNMENT SEE THAT THIS DISCOURAGEMENT IS MAKING STUDENTS GIVE UP AND BECOME LAZIER? SO NOW YOU CAN'T BLAME PARENTS AND STUDENTS FOR NOT WANTING TO DO HOMEWORK. YOU, whoever thinks that this system is anywhere near 'helping' the students, ARE AT BLAME. At least some teachers encourage us. Yesterday, miss Ang was doing sorta both. She was telling us what we CAN be. We CAN be like the 2e1s in other schools and if we work hard enough we can even be BETTER. So yup. Thank you Ms. Ang =). (i can't remember the discouraging part. I think i wrote it down somewhere when i was doodling XD)
And for the people who is surprised, FYI, i don't hate. Ever. Just dislike XD. Hate is a very very strong word. But all i see in the word is BURDEN, UNHAPPINESS, OMG HE/SHE SUCKS. I don't need that XD.
